Event Information
This years event will be held on Saturday March 29th, 2008 from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm at Alabama International Dragway in Steele, AL. Track Website
We have 3 classes setup for the race. NA Bracket, Power Adder Bracket, and a Heads Up class to see who is King of the Hill. See the Class Rules page for more class details.
Please note: Any car running 13.99 of faster you Must have a helmet ,But we STRONGLY suggest that you wear a helmet for the safety factor no matter what speed you run.
There will be trophies awarded to First and Second place in each class as well as for Lowest reaction time, Lowest 60FT, Top MPH, and Lowest ET, Fastest N/A.
We will also have a Long Distance award for the participant that drives the farthest to attend the event.

Southern V6 Racing Schedule:
1. Gate will open at 8:30 AM
2. Tech will begin at 8:45 AM
3. Test and Tune will begin at 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM (once you have passed Tech)
4. 10:00 AM Till 12:00 PM Qualifying Rounds for Bracket Classes
5. 12:00 - 1:00 track closed for lunch & prep Concession's open from 11:00.
6. 1:00 PM till 4:00 Elimination Rounds. Order to be determined.

We have 30 rooms booked (25 non smoking rooms and 5 smoking rooms ) ,up to 4 people per room.
The price for the rooms are 64.19 per day (that includes the tax) for the 28-30 of March (Fri-Sun) .
The confirmation number is 23931 ( master confirmation for the block of rooms ) . You will get your own confirmation number when you call to reserve your room.
All rooms have double beds and the hotel has recently been remodeled and has High speed Internet wireless connections in the rooms.
You will need a credit card to secure the room and in the case of a rain out or you can't make it for some reason it is YOUR responsibility to cancel the room .
We have 30 rooms held for the race, any rooms that are not booked by March 1, 2008 will be automatically released .
